Lucky for me, I didn't suffer from any of those afflictions when I was standing nearly ninety feet above Manhattan on a twenty-two-inch pillar for almost thirty-five hours. In fact, for the first time in my life, I had a clear understanding of the world. I realized that this world is just a series of sunrises and sunsets. And that's it.
